The Celtics are clearly in rebuild mode after letting go of Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. It’s officially Rondo’s team and we’re not sure when he’ll return yet.
The other member of that starting back court, Avery Bradley is going through some difficult times off the court right now. Bradley’s mother passed away recently and he’s expecting a baby any second.
“He’s going through a very difficult time,” Danny Ainge, Boston’s president of basketball operations, told CSNNE.com. “His mother passed away and they were very close and he’s expecting a baby any day. He’s got a lot going on.”
When asked if Bradley might be late to training camp, Ainge responded, “I don’t know. We’re just taking it day-by-day right now.”
Celtics training camp begins October 1st.
