Even though the NCAA investigation of UNC has long been closed, North Carolina Secretary of State Elaine Marshall had ordered an investigation of her own regarding the football program under Butch Davis. CBS Sports has learned that recently a search warrant had been unsealed and former WR Greg Little basically told everything needed to know regarding his situation.
Basically, Little explained that he was receiving $2200 per month from Terry Watson of Watson Sports Agency and that his former tutor, Jennifer Wiley, was the go-between to receive the funds from Terry Watson. Little’s response to the fiasco is that he is “ready for this chapter of his life to be over and to get on with his life on a clean slate.”
North Carolina is currently suffering in the midst of its NCAA sanctions with a reduction of scholarships over a three year period. Their one year postseason ban was served last season despite having a bowl eligible record of 8-4.
