The Chargers are playing inspired football this season, but they may have to continue without one of their more important veterans around.
Ian Rapoport is reporting that Dwight Freeney could miss the rest of the season with a torn quadriceps.

#Chargers still trying to determine whether Dwight Freeney's torn quad will land him on Injured Reserve, ending his season. No decision yet

He had just one tackle and 0.5 sacks in San Diego’s first three games and had no statistical production against Dallas on Sunday.
Freeney though was a presence, leading the Chargers in hurries, and providing the only pass rush for the team so far this season.
