The Seattle Seahawks rode bad weather, and the loudest crowd in stadium history to a 29-3 dismantling of the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night football. Sherman was his normal polarizing self after the game, calling out all the idiots who doubted his team.
“There are a lot of pundits and ignorant idiots who thought, ‘Oh, the Seahawks are gonna lose this game.’ Well, please, please don’t doubt us again,” Sherman told NBC’s Michele Tafoya after the 29-3 win. “Every time you doubt us, you look stupid.”’
Sherman saved the best for last thought when he gave his former college coach, Jim Harbaugh, a nice pat on the butt because he felt Harbaugh was ignoring him.
“I told him good job, good game, but he didn’t give me nothing back,” he said, according to NFL.com. “I guess sportsmanship doesn’t go both ways.”
Harbaugh, though, said he wasn’t trying to ignore Sherman.
“I didn’t realize it was him until he was moving in the other direction,” Harbaugh said. “He came up and patted me on the back, and I congratulated him.”
