Remember in the NFL the rules to protect players only apply to the offensive players. The refs have chosen to ignore the rule that says Running Backs can’t use their helmets as weapons.
With that being said, this is how you are taught to finish a run.
You are supposed to deliver the blow, before the blow is delivered to you.
