107: Combined points in the Rutgers vs SMU triple overtime thriller that Rutgers won 55-52. 1: How many victories South Florida has after getting their first win of the year against Cincinnati on Saturday. 2: Fumble returns in the final two minutes of the game that gave UCF a win over Memphis. 17: Straight games that Teddy Bridgewater has thrown a TD pass in after posting another stellar performance with 348 yards and 2 TDs
ACC
63: Points hung on Maryland by Florida State. The Noles were on a mission and just pounded the Terps behind 393 yards and 5 TDs from Jameis Winston. 455: Not to be outdone Clemson QB Tajh Boyd put up that many passing yards on Syracuse to go along with 5 TDs. 1: How many points Miami was leading GT by in the 4th quarter before blowing past the Yellow Jackets 45-30. 3: TD passes by Logan Thomas matching his career high. The embattled QB finally had that breakout game scouts have been waiting for and VA Tech continues to win.
Big 12
864: The new record for total yards set in a game by Baylor. They also scored 73 points vs West Virginia. If the Bears go to the National Championship I will do a whole article just based on their crazy stats. 2: Controversial fumbles by Texas late in their close win over Iowa State Thursday night. 54: Points scored by Texas Tech in their romp over Kansas. Don’t look now but the Red Raiders are 5-0.
Big 10
168: Rushing yards by Carlos Hyde in Ohio State’s win over Northwestern. Remember when people said he wasn’t that good and it didn’t matter if he was suspended? 28: 2nd quarter points by Michigan that propelled them to victory over Minnesota. 225: Rushing yards by Nebraska’s Ameer Abdullah in the 39-19 beatdown the Huskers put on Illinois. Kenny Bell probably had the catch of the year though.
Pac 12
296: Total yards by UCLA QB Brett Hundley in a 34-27 survival win over Utah. 30: First downs by Washington who still never lead in the game against Stanford, losing 31-28. 7: Total TDs by Oregon QB Marcus Mariota against Colorado. It feels like Mariota is quietly becoming the Heisman leader right now as the engine that powers the Ducks high octane offense.
SEC
148: Rushing yards by Raijon Neal of Tennessee in a heartbreaking overtime loss to Georgia. This was probably the best game of the weekend and a gutsy win by UGA on the road. 28: Points in the 4th quarter by LSU to pull away from Mississippi State 59-26. 140: Rushing yards by Auburn QB Nick Marshall in an upset win over Ole Miss. Maybe the kids at Ole Miss aren’t quite ready for primetime.
