The Wizards and their star PG John Wall need to change their luck on making the playoffs. They have had 5 losing seasons in a row and haven’t made the postseason since the 2007 season. John Wall knows how he will stay motivated to change that. He’s going to write “playoffs” on his shoes this season:
“You will see it on all my shoes,” Wall recently told Bleacher Report’s Howard Beck. “Every game pair is going to have ‘playoffs’ on it. That’s my main determination.”
The Wizards should challenge for a 7 or 8 seed in the diluted Eastern Conference that’s wide open after the top 3 teams. If this helps Wall live up to his contract and take the “leap” as a player then more power to him. Somehow I doubt writing playoffs will help though, him playing the full season will though.
