Emmitt Su’a-Kalio, a freshman defensive end on the Washington State football team, was arrested and charged with second degree assault after getting into a fight with a teammate inside the locker room.
According to reports, a fellow player says that Su’a-Kalio sucker punched him, breaking his jaw.
Teammates get into tussles during practice and in the locker room all the time, but they are usually able to handle the situation without getting the law involved. I guess a sucker punch and broken jaw was crossing the line.
