The Oklahoma City Thunder have their biggest two-game stretch to date coming up (Clippers and Warriors) and Perkins won’t partake in any of the action.
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports broke the story.
Oklahoma City center Kendrick Perkins has returned to Texas because of the passing of his grandfather and will miss the Thunder’s next two games, league sources told Yahoo Sports on Wednesday.
The young promising Steven Adams will get the bulk of minutes at the five position in Perkin’s absence. Adams is averaging 6.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 20 minutes.
