This is a moment every player in college basketball dreams of having and Shane Merryman was lucky enough to experience it.
Last night with one second left on the clock, Merryman — one of the best college players on the NAIA level — drained a shot 75 feet away from the basket giving his team, Huntington University, a 61-59 win over Marian.

Thanks to Merryman’s hail mary, Huntington University is still undefeated with a record of 9-0.
Easily one of the best endings to a game I have ever seen. Just another reason why I love this sport so much.
