“NFL investigations, oh, don’t make me laugh.”

Looks like Hov was right….

The NFL Players Association has cleared rapper Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports and agent Kim Miale of wrongdoing in the recruitment of New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith, a person with knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports.

According to the person, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the decision hadn’t been announced publicly, the decision became official Friday — the same day Roc Nation completed a 10-year, $240 million contract for baseball star Robinson Cano with the Seattle Mariners.

The NFLPA had been investigating whether Jay Z, who is not a certified NFL agent, recruited Smith against union rules before this past year’s draft.

Now, if Hov can solve Geno Smith’s turnover problem, then he really will be seen as a genius.
