Since the commercial of Seattle Seahawks Fullback Derrick Coleman aired, fans got a chance to glimpse at the NFL’s first legally deaf player. Coleman has been deaf since he was 3 years old and since then he has been playing with hearing aids. In the commercial his life is highlighted leading up to him playing in a Seahawks game telling the fans “I hear your cheers”.
Inspiring by the lots, Coleman has one special fan who took the time to share her experiences. I really hope Coleman gets a chance to see and respond to this letter, it would really be a great detail in an amazing story.
