There’s no doubt that one of the NBA off-season’s hottest topics will be which team will land Knicks’ star Carmelo Anthony.
Last night during an appearance on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live”, Melo’s wife LaLa was asked whether she thinks her husband will re-sign with the New York.
“I definitely think he will stay. I know that he wants to stay, and I support him wherever he wants to go.”
“Listen, I used to live in Denver with him. If I can live in Denver, I can live anywhere. I just want him to be happy.”
If anybody would have the inside scoop as to what Carmelo’s plans are it would be his wife, but I’m sure she would stay away from using the word “definitely” if given the opportunity to answer the question again.
The Knicks can offer Anthony the most money (a max five-year contract worth $129 million), but with his team’s poor play and his championship aspirations, he’s probably weighing his options more than LaLa thinks.
