Ohio State’s Noah Spence Suspended For Orange Bowl

image

Ohio State defensive end Noah Spence has been suspended for three games for violating a Big Ten Conference rule.  Spence, who is second in the Big Ten in sacks and sixth in tackles for a loss, did not travel to Florida with the team for the Orange Bowl.

There have been no details on what specifically led to the suspension.

Spence will continue to attend classes and will be able to practice with the team this spring, but he will not be eligible to play until Ohio State’s third game next season.

This is a huge blow to a Buckeye defense that will need everything they have to take on Tajh Boyd and Clemson’s high powered offense.
