I would personally love to see Amir Khan and Adrien Broner go at it, the trash talk leading up to the fight would probably be legendary.
Khan for some reason (monetary would be my guess), is desperate to fight Floyd Mayweather and decided that to get to him he would take the Marcos Maidana route and go through Adrien Broner first.

I didn’t know Floyd dictated who Broner fights, but then again I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case.
