Indiana had a disappointing season. After going to the Sweet 16 last year, they finished 17-15 overall, 7-11 in the Big Ten, and lost in the first round of the conference tournament to Illinois.
They obviously weren’t getting invited to the big dance and they didn’t make the NIT but when the 16 team CBI tournament came up, Athletic Director Fred Glass wasn’t having it:
“We’re Indiana. We don’t play in the CBI.”
Under Coach Tom Crean, the Hoosiers have missed the postseason four out of six years.
Right now, the CBI is who Indiana is.
