Last year’s NFC Title Game was chalk full of memorable moments. From Colin Kaepernick’s laser jump-pass to Anquan Boldin for a TD, to Richard Sherman’s amazing post-game rant, it was an unforgettable game between two bitter rivals. (Seriously, look at that jump pass!)
One of the moments that made us both marvel at and cringe at the same time was the strip-fumble recovery by All-Pro NaVorro Bowman which resulted in tears of both his ACL and MCL. (Watch here at your own risk.)
Needless to say, these are both very serious injuries which required extensive surgery and a long recovery process. Many people feared that Bowman may miss the entire 2014-15 NFL season. But fear not Niner fans, your All-Pro may be back a lot sooner than most expected according to ESPN’s Bill Williamson.
#49ers Bowman just said on SportsCenter that he should be ready “about the middle of the season.” In step with team’s timeline.

Earlier today, Bowman appeared on ESPN and discussed his injury recovery among other things.
The revelation that his recovery is going well and he may be back by mid-season is welcome news for the Niners and bad news for their NFC rivals. Bowman should be back on the field causing havoc in no time.
