While it has been less than fun for the Clippers team these last few days, there is a bright spot that the team can celebrate with their teammate Jamal Crawford. Crawford won the award when he was a member of the Hawks in 2010. Crawford has definitely shown that he deserves the honor by averaging 18.6 PPG during the regular season and 15.2 PPG during the playoffs so far.

The Clippers team is currently trying to overcome the adversity thrown at them with the Donald Sterling scandal, so this award given to Crawford might be a way to help the team look ahead.
