Texas A&M made millions off the Johnny Football name, but now that Manziel is going pro, he wants to start to recoup some of that money.
According to TMZ he has trademarks applications out for exclusive rights to various permutations of his name and jersey number (2) — including “JIIM,” “JFF” “JMAN” “JMAN 2” “The House that Johnny Built” and ManzIIel.”
In the application he says that he plans on coming out with a line of women and men’s apparel (even some baby stuff). He is still in a fight over the Johnny Football name as well. If he is granted all these trademarks he will be making a whole lot of money very soon.
