Mark Cuban Says Donald Trump Can’t Afford The Bills Alone; Trump Responds

AI

According to a report by TMZ Sports, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban doesn’t believe that Donald Trump can afford to rescue the Buffalo Bills on his own. Cuban was asked a question in an interview regarding Trump’s reported interest in buying the franchise, after the passing of owner Ralph Wilson last month. Cuban said:

“He cant afford them by himself. So it would be interesting to see what group he put together to buy them. It would make things interesting.”

The comments made their way back to “The Donald” and in typical Trump fashion, you know he had to fire back. He responded:

“Mark Cuban is a lightweight whose net worth is a fraction of mine. He was rejected by baseball and probably plenty of others! By the way, I watched him play golf and he is a total non-athlete – zero clubhead speed. He lives vicariously through his basketball players. “By the way, the Dallas Mavericks deal is syndicated and his partners have been fighting him over poor management. While the Bills deal would be easily handled by me, if I chose to do it, almost all sports deals are syndicated.”

I’m not sure what Cuban’s golf game has to do with anything, but from the sounds of this feud, he highly doubts Trump’s net worth and/or his ability to conduct himself as owner of a professional organization. I mean, it’s pretty hard to forget the last time Trump dabbled in NFL ownership.

This could all just be two outrageously rich men tossing tough talk in the name of their egos; or Cuban could be stating facts. He would, of course, know what it takes to own and maintain a pro franchise; better than Trump.
