Any success Phil Jackson has with the New York Knicks is likely to come as the teams highest ranking executive. According to Al Iannazzone of the New York Daily News, Jackson has ruled out moving down to the bench to coach the Knicks.
Phil said he "made up his mind" and he will not coach. Also cited physical reasons.
