Well that was quick.
A day after coming up short in a 60-54 loss to Shabazz Napier and the Connecticut Huskies in the NCAA title game, the Kentucky Wildcats have already hung up a banner commemorating their runner-up finish after less than 24 hours. Steve Jones of the Courier-Journal shared some pictures from inside Rupp Arena.

While this may seem kind of odd, Kentucky actually has a tradition of hanging up banners even when they don’t win the national championship.

Despite the loss, Kentucky fans won’t have their heads down for long. Coach John Calipari has yet another monster class coming for the 2014-15 season. Looks like we may be seeing another banner for UK next season.
