Today marked the one year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings, and while this year’s race was taking place amidst solemn tributes and remembrances back in Beantown, the Red Sox were on the road to face the White Sox in Chicago. Prior to the game, in a genuinely classy and touching gesture, the White Sox players took the field wearing “Boston Strong/Sox Together” t-shirts.

There was also a moment of silence before the first pitch.
Thank you to the @whitesox for your moment of silence prior to tonight's game. #BostonStrong pic.twitter.com/iqKdrAV9uh
