They haven’t determined if they will charge him with a misdemeanor for his bomb threat incident at LAX, but it appears he will get a slap on the wrist for his DUI and weapons charges.

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith and the Santa Clara District Attorney’s Office reportedly negotiated a plea agreement Wednesday on DUI and weapons charges.
Smith is expected to enter a guilty or no-contest plea, the San Jose Mercury News reported.
According to court documents, deputies recovered three assault rifles while searching Smith’s home after a party in June 2012 got out of control. The three rifles were legally purchased in Arizona. The rifles were not legal in California, which requires a “bullet button” to prevent a quick removal of the magazine.
According to prosecutors, Smith fired a .45-caliber handgun into the air during the party in an attempt to disperse a large crowd. Later, two partygoers were shot and Smith sustained minor stab wounds.
The DUI charge stemmed from his arrest on September 20 in San Jose.
