Well isn’t this something special.
According to a story via Fansided, Houston Astros prospect Conrad Gregor got to do something that you don’t see everyday (or any day for that matter) when he hit his first home run of the season right into the hands of his dad.
After the game Gregor confirmed it was indeed his father who caught his first home run of the season for the Quad Cities River Bandits .
Talking to the media after the game, Gregor confirmed it was his dad that made the catch. “That was my dad. It’s a little unbelievable, but I’m glad my parents were here to see it, and when I got back to the dugout, I heard he made a pretty good catch.” Gregor said his parents made the trip for the Memorial Day weekend series, and he may want his dad standing out there for every game.
