Josh Beckett has gone 9-20 since 2012, but on Sunday, the Dodgers pitcher threw a masterful complete game no-hit shutout of the Philadelphia Phillies.
Beckett had three walks and six strikeouts on 128 pitches. It was the first no-hitter of Beckett’s career, and the 21th no-hitter in Dodgers history.
Beckett threw the first Dodger no-hitter in 17 1/2 years since Hideo Nomo’s at Colorado on September 17, 1996.
