Floyd Mayweather and his feud with his ex-fiance Shantel Jackson played out on social media for all to see, causing some to question whether it would hurt the undefeated boxer in the ring, but Floyd says he’s not worried about the distractions.
“My job is to go out there and do what I do best,” Mayweather said after weighing in at 146 pounds, one under the welterweight limit. “I perform better under pressure. I look forward to going out there and being Floyd Mayweather and taking my time, keeping my composure and doing what I do best.
“Pressure. I love it. I love it. The main thing is, as long as God loves me, I’m OK.”
All those riches and a harem of women and Floyd is still longing for love. That just goes to show that money can buy a lot of things, but happiness isn’t one of them.
As far as tonight’s fight…after 45 bouts and 45 wins, I’m sure Mayweather knows how to prepare himself – break-up drama and all.
