The NFL Draft reportedly brought back some old feelings pertaining to the hit that made Jadeveon Clowney a household name.
After the Tennessee Titans drafted Michigan’s Taylor Lewan on Thursday, ESPN included footage of Clowney destroying then Wolverines RB Vincent Smith in the 2013 Outback Bowl.
Michigan fullback Joe Kerridge was on the field for that play. Amazingly after seeing it replayed again after Lewan’s selection, Kerridge’s mom texted him to ask if he was sure Clowney’s destruction wasn’t his fault.
Here is the hit that made Clowney a rock star.
