Yesterday we told you about Antoine Turner, as Boise State football player who has lived a terribly rough life and finds himself homeless for the second time.
After his story was aired on a local news station a school compliance officer issued a statement discouraging fans from offering assistance due to potential violations of NCAA improper gifts rules.
Now, the NCAA has announced that it approved Boise’s request to provide immediate assistance to Turner.
After Boise State’s request last night, the school may provide immediate assistance to football student-athlete Antoine Turner.

This is outstanding news. Another victory for social media. Without the exposure this story got, I seriously doubt the NCAA would’ve taken such swift action.
I’ll be rooting for Turner and his incredible story of survival and success.
