Even though NFL rookies don’t make as much on their first contracts as they used to doesn’t mean that the veterans will stop making them (allegedly) pay for outrageously expensive dinners from time to time. Eagles tackle Lane Johnson tweeted out a receipt from the dinner that the Philly rookies may or may not have been forced to spring for, a meal that cost a whopping $17,747, $3,495 of which was a bottle of 2005 Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon, because the Eagles are apparently a bunch of fancy dancy wine connoisseurs.
