The Pacers, who acquired Turner from the Philadelphia 76ers in a trade during last season, will not extend a qualifying offer of $8.7 million on the final year of his rookie deal.
Turner was expected to possibly be the missing piece to help get the Pacers over the hump against the Heat. Instead, Turner played in just one game (four minutes) in the six-game series.
He has averaged 11.1 points, five rebounds and 3.2 assists in his four seasons.
