Emmanuel Mudiay’s mother will not have to struggle anymore. She just won’t see her son for a few months. Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the former Prime Prep point guard and SMU commit has signed a one-year deal to play for Guangdong of the China Basketball Association.

It was previously reported that Mudiay had eligibility issues that prevented him from attending SMU. The talent point guard will now spend one season overseas.
