Sports enthusiasts aren’t the only ones who can take cheap shots at LeBron James’ Decision I & II. The latest comes from the Florida GOP. Since James left Miami, FL, the GOP decided it would be perfect to use him in a smear ad campaign against their gubernatorial opponent Charlie Crist. Crist was the Florida governor from 2007-11, where he started as Republican and ended his term as an Independent.

The one snafu to the GOP’s plan was that most people actually applauded James’ decision to return to Cleveland, so the smear campaign wasn’t well received. I rarely give props to the GOP, but even I have to admit this was rather clever.
