As you can imagine, the scene around the hospital where Brazilian soccer star Neymar is being treated is absolute chaos and confusion. For most Brazilians, soccer is almost like a religion and the players give them a source of hope. The entire country of Brazil heaved a collective sign of despair when Neymar went down in the match against Colombia. You can see the look of fear on the people’s faces as Neymar arrives at the hospital. As he is carried through the halls of the hospital, Neymar himself just keeps his face covered while he s in tears, probably thinking about the chances of him not being able to play for the team in this World Cup, much less ever.

It was later learned that Neymar suffered fractured vertebrae and was out for the rest of the World Cup. The country of Brazil is mourning this great loss.
