What better way to celebrate one of the most successful MLB careers in recent history than with free lap dances at the strip club?
Show Palace, a “gentlemen’s club” in Queens is offering free lap dances to Derek Jeter and members on the Yankees organization September 7th (the day the Yanks will officially honor Jeter’s career).
All Yankee employees will receive free admission and two free lap dances, the Show Palace in Queens announced. Plus, the dancers will be painted in pinstripes.
If Jeter himself were to show up, a rep tells The Huffington Post, he “gets unlimited lap dances and food and a lifetime free-entry pass to Show Palace as a thank you for his years of service as a New York Yankee.”
Don’t hold your breath Show Palace ladies expecting publically squeaky clean Derek to show up for this promotion.
It’s become common practice for strip clubs to offer free dances to athletes that will probably never show up, but as long as they get the free publicity I’m sure they could care less whether do or not. How about offering them to the dollarnaires that could really use them? Now, that would be commendable.
