Social media is probably the greatest and worst thing to happen to sports. Twitter gives us 24-hour access to our favorite athletes, as well as a platform for Twitter “analysts” to give you by the second reactions to every game, play and movement made on and off the court. While all of those things can be terrible, Twitter also blesses us with tweets from athletes themselves that can be hilarious years later.
When news broke that Danny Granger was signing with the Miami Heat, it was actually quite a shock. Granger, former Pacer and Heat hater, going to Miami? The same guy that tweeted the following on the Heat not so long ago?
I feel like we just won the chip haha… So happy that Dallas beat Miami!!!

I guess it’s true when they say money talks. Especially when you’re a 31-year-old forward on the downside of your career. If Karl Malone and Gary Payton can play for the Lakers, Granger to the Heat shouldn’t be much of a surprise. After all, time heals all and money heals even more.
