One name being overlooked among the hoopla created by LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony in free agency is third-year forward Chandler Parsons. After the Rockets made Parsons a restricted free agent, the forward is expected to generate plenty of buzz on the open market.
According to Jeff Goodman and Marc Stein of ESPN, a handful of teams with plenty of cap space have already shown Parsons interest.
Lakers have expressed interest in Chandler Parsons, source told ESPN. Others include Dallas and Chicago. Phoenix also interested.

Parsons is a free agent expected to sign somewhere once the James and Anthony decisions have been made, but teams waiting on the forward may miss out altogether if someone swoops in and offers him a big contract.
