You have to have role players right? If the report by Brian Windhorst is to be believed, Mason Plumlee is likely to make Team USA over Demarcus Cousins:

Plumlee wasn’t one of the 19 players brought in to “tryout” for a spot on Team USA but was on the scrimmage team to play against them. Based on talent, you have to scratch your head at this potential move. Let’s get this out of the way now though that Plumlee did play for Coach K at Duke from 2009-2013 so perhaps he is familiar with him and has a role in mind. Or the cynical side says it’s bias.
Only time will tell if it’s true that the Nets big man will make the team over Boogie.
