Some rare footage of a then 17-year-old NBA rookie by the name of Kobe Bryant playing in his first Summer League has surfaced, and it is about as great as you’d expect. This seven-minute clip shows Kobe scoring 36 points against the Phoenix Suns summer-league squad at the Pyramid in Long Beach, CA. The video is filled with highlights we’d come to expect regularly from Bryant in his illustrious career.
