Well, you knew it was coming.
For those who have been following WWE in recent months, it has become a bit of a tradition for Damien Sandow to dress up as an NBA player and mock the crowd. A few months back, he dressed up as LeBron James while in Cleveland (back when Cavs fans still hated the MVP), and followed that up by dressing up as Lance Stephenson in Indiana following the Pacers playoff elimination.
So with WWE rolling into the American Airlines Arena, aka the home of the Miami Heat, it’s no surprise that Sandow took the opportunity to mock Heat fans over the departure of James back to Cleveland.
Sandow came out and delivered a pretty funny promo about taking his talents from South Beach, while John Bradshaw Layfield on commentary questioned LeBron’s decision.
“Why would anyone leave Miami for Cleveland?” Layfield said, “Nobody’s from Cleveland!”
WWE did a great job of getting Heat on Sandow, the highlight of the entire thing was him yelling that he was ‘coming home’ to the cameras mid-match.
Unfortunately for Sandow, he was on the losing end of his match against Bo Dallas, who turned the entire Miami crowd into a bunch of Bo-lievers.
