It feels like Browns coach Mike Pettine is starting to lose his team a bit. That can all change with a couple of wins in the regular season, but right now things don’t seem well in Cleveland.
Players don’t like to see their coach publicly calling out a teammate in the media, regardless if it is accurate or not, they prefer to keep that in house.
When Pettine was asked about about Josh Gordon, ESPN is reporting that Pettine said at times Gordon didn’t show the “proper effort” against the Redskins.
That may explain why Gordon was still playing during the 4th quarter of a meaningless preseason game.
