Stephen A. Smith can’t talk about it, but this is another example that all punches aren’t created equal. It is pretty clear there was an altercation between Mixon and the woman where she struck him and possibly called him a racial slur, but Mixon as the man has to walk away.
By punching her and breaking her jaw, he is the one who is being charged (she is not) and he is the one who might get kicked off the Sooners football team.
Regardless, if you think he was justified or not, the prudent move would have been to leave the scene, because two wrongs don’t make a right and breaking someone’s jaw is going to be seen more seriously than being slapped.

Male and females should keep their hands to themselves, but specifically if you are a male and your life is not in danger, just walk away. It is better to think something is unfair or have a bruised ego than ending up in jail.
