Normally, DeAngelo Hall isn’t the voice of reason, but he does make one very crucial point that is overlooked by a lot of people.
Now, he is wrong about the people making up the rules never played the game. The NFL has a bunch of former players working for and advising them on these things.
What he is 100% on point about is the strike zone. WRs routinely dip their head or change their body position after the defensive player has targeted a launch point. So, what looked like a hit to the chest can quickly become a hit to the head.
That is something the NFL should take into consideration.
