The 2014 college football season is in full effect and we have already witnessed our first ejection. The fact that there was an ejection isn’t a surprise but the reasoning behind the ejection is the entertaining part.
I know what you were originally thinking: The player was ejected for excessive celebrating, leading with the crown of his helmet, etc. But no, it was for a cheap nut shot to a University of Minnesota offensive lineman.
Video clips from yardbarker.com show Eastern Illinois linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill giving a closed-fist cheap shot to Zac Epping during their Thursday night game
It is almost as if Grugier-Hill wanted to get caught because it was a very blatant move and resulted in an automatic ejection.
As if football wasn’t already rough enough, now guys have to worry about protecting their family jewels. Fellas, we must protect these nuts! ***in my UnderArmour voice***
