The University of Michigan has announced that WR Csont’e York has been dismissed from the team after York had been charged with one count aggravated assault and two counts of assault or assault and battery. The Ann Arbor police released video footage of York punching someone outside of a bar in July. Police say that the blows delivered by York caused his victim to require his jaw to be wired shut and to also sustain a broken jaw in three places.

The statement in the picture above was released by head coach Brady Hoke and certainly sends the resounding message that York’s behavior won’t be tolerated by the Michigan athletic department.
