Most people, myself included, would immediately run to the bank if they came into possession of $15 million. However, Arizona Cardinals CB Patrick Peterson doesn’t fall under the “most people” category apparently. Peterson signed a 5-year contract extension on July 29th, which included a signing bonus of $15,361,000. However, Peterson claims he hasn’t had time to cash the check yet.
“I just haven’t gotten around to it,” Peterson told The Monday Morning Quarterback’s Peter King.
Ok I’ll give him a break. It’s not like he had easy access to his bank during training camp. However, there have been breaks in training camp. Peterson is only 24 years old folks. I chalk it up to lifestyles of the rich and famous.
