Mark Ingram hasn’t quite lived up to Heisman Trophy accolades in the NFL, but the Saints running back is looking to change that. Ingram told ESPN.com that he wants to be the best running back to ever play the game.
“The sky’s the limit, man. I want to be the best back to ever play the freakin’ game of football,” Ingram said, via ESPN.
Ingram has 356 carries for 1,462 yards and 11 touchdowns so far in his career, which wouldn’t make him the best running back in Saints history let alone the NFL.
