Indiana University basketball players Kevin ” Yogi” Ferrell and Stanford Robinson have entered a pretrial diversion program after being charged in April with underage drinking and possession of false identification, the Associated Press reports.
Monroe County Chief Deputy Prosecutor Bob Miller said Monday that the two signed up for the program last week.
Miller says the cases against them will be dismissed if they complete 10 hours of community service, attend alcohol education classes and avoid further legal trouble.
Ferrell, a junior, led the Hoosiers in scoring last season at 17.3 points a game. Robinson, a sophomore, started nine games and averaged 6.4 points a game.
