If you tuned into the Baylor/SMU game on Sunday night it was evident that Bryce Petty was in pain early on. He was slow to get up several times and the pain was written all over his face yet, Art Briles continued to let him go back out on the field despite the game being in hand early.

Even though he is only considered day to day at this point, Baylor may want to be very careful about how they proceed forward with Petty. I know he is a tough guy and will want to play every offensive snap, but Heisman quarterbacks don’t grow on trees and there is plenty of season left.
