Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger wants a new contract, and he’s taken the steps to prove to Steelers brass that he deserves it.
His former head coach, Bill Cowher, told CBS Sports that “this is the best Roethlisberger has ever looked entering a season.”
“He’s very optimistic that he’ll have a great season and get a new deal.” “He’s hired a nutritionist, and it’s the first time I’ve seen him work with a personal trainer.”
Cowher went on to say that the Steelers will run more no-huddle under Todd Haley this season as well. It should bold well for Roethlisberger who is usually at his best when the tempo is up and teams can’t get prepared for him.
